BESAS - Villas & Resort
Location: Koror, The Republic of Palau
Function: Villas & Resort Collaborator: Kobayashi Maki Design Workshop
This hotel and condominium project is located in Palau, a Pacific island renowned for its marine life and resorts. The villas are dispersed evenly over the site to help minimize environmental imapact, while the gentle slope allows views to the ocean. The design of each villa opens up to the ocean, providing a connection to the outside from each room.

マリンリゾートして有名なパラオにホテルや滞在型コンドミニアムを開発するプロジェクトです。環境への負荷をできる限り小さくするために自然のレベル差を利用し、なだらかな傾斜に沿ってヴィラが配置されるようにしています。ヴィラの建築自体も傾斜の中に半ば埋め込まれるように計画され、室内からオーシャンビューが楽しめるように開放的なデザインとしています。
