This is a redevelopment master plan for housing and commercial facilities in the suburbs Shaoxing, China, a city famous for its rice wine. As this riverside district is known for its rivers and waterways that interconnect the surrounding terrain, our goal was to continue this by inserting canals and places to enjoy water throughout the site. We expressed the importantce of water by introducing a circular water ripple throughout the plan, and buildings as well took on a wave-like form.

紹興酒で有名な中国・紹興市の郊外に集合住宅、商業施設からなる再開発計画のマスタープランです。
水郷の街の特徴である河川・水路の拡がる地形を生かせるように、敷地内にも水路や親水スペースを設けています。また建物の配置や形状を波紋や波を連想させるような形とし、水郷の街になじむような親しみやすいデザインとしました。
